History of Roof-Over America
My name is Bob Mckee, a state certified general contractor since 1972. In 1983 I founded McKee Construction Co. in Sanford, FL which I sold in 1996. During this time Mckee Construction Co. built many pre-engineered steel buildings. I incorporated Roof-Over America, Inc. in 2001 to focus on metal buildings that need a new roof.
The system we use leaves the old roof in place. We attach a 1/2" high sub-girts over the original roof purlins and install new 'Galvalume Plus' panels with ZAC long life fasteners. This protects the contents of your building from weather and also creates an air space between the old and new roof that helps reduce temperatures inside. 'Galvalume Plus' comes with a manufacturer's 25 year warranty.
